Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. The host of her show is Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Her signature spiky blonde hair and her energised appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of eating out and offers simple, easy-to-master recipes to cook at home on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell worked at top New York restaurants and studied Italian cuisine and geography. Additionally, she competed in the Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a youngster in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. Her passion was for the industry of restaurant management by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. I loved every minute of being a student at The Culinary Institute of America she says. It was difficult to master enough and I could not do enough couldn't work hard enough. Chef Burrell was a graduate of the Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy completed a one-year stint in Umbria at La Taverna del Lupo and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, the Michelin-starred restaurant. Burrell gained a greater understanding of Italian culinary and cultural traditions throughout her time in Italy that has informed her style of cooking. Burrell is a famous ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. Additionally, she was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children who are struggling. as a speaker, guest and instructor, she travels across the United States to discuss the joy of cooking as well as her work. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share my passion to others.
